26/06/2009 - Cape Verde, Lacaçao project for luxury housing

Union Hotels & Development has presented the Lacaçao project for six kilometres of beach front in the south of the Boa Vista island in Cape Verde. The project includes the building of luxury homes and high-end apartments, a casino, a water park, a botanical garden, various theme parks and an 18 hole golf course. Union Hotels & Development, through the Cape Verde company Bucan Lda, is already building infrastructure, services and roads. Bucan, once the urban planning work is finished will hand the marketing and sales of plots to Real Estate New Homes 21 Investment, the commercial and marketing division of Union Hotels & Development. In the same area the international company RIU is building its second five star hotel with more than 2,000 rooms scheduled to open at the end of 2011. The Union Hotels & Development includes companies that develop large tourist projects and real estate in the Canary Islands and the Capo Verde, Sal and Boa Vista islands.
